Andrew Kiel is a partner and a long-standing member of the management team. Drawing on extensive international experience, he has led large-scale sustainable projects focused on environmentally conscious design for sauerbruch hutton since 1999. As part of the operational team, he ensures sauerbruch hutton’s innovative designs meet the highest legal and ethical standards.

In addition to his role at sauerbruch hutton, Andrew teaches at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM) and frequently lectures at universities and professional symposia worldwide. He studied at the University of Virginia and Princeton University and has collaborated with several leading German architectural firms.
