Milutin Cerovic graduated from the University of Belgrade in 2009. He worked for URBANUS in Shenzhen, China, where he was involved in projects spanning from early concept to construction phases. His work explored alternative urban typologies in response to the rapidly evolving urban landscape of Shenzhen. In this context of high-density urbanization, he focused on the development of vertically organized cultural buildings and urban renovation strategies addressing the challenges of informal settlements known as Urban Villages.
Alongside his professional experience, Milutin has occasionally taken part in academic activities. He worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Belgrade and was invited to contribute as a unit co-tutor at the University of Hong Kong and the AA Visiting School in Iran.
Milutin joined sauerbruch hutton in 2020, where he has since been involved in a range of projects in Germany and internationally. His work spans various scales and phases, contributing to both design development and project delivery.
