Tom Geister joined Sauerbruch Hutton in 1999, following his graduation that year from the Technische Universität Berlin and previous studies in Dortmund.

Tom focuses on the management of international competitions and projects throughout all design phases, and has extensive knowledge in feasibility studies, especially in the fields of residential and cultural buildings and innovative work environments. From 2013 to 2015 he taught as a guest lecturer at the Berlin University of the Arts.

Since 2010 Tom has been a member of the executive group of Sauerbruch Hutton. He organises in-house architectural discussion panels. Tom became a partner of Sauerbruch Hutton in 2020.
